Bicycle Rider Badly Injured in Altadena Crash Near Woodbury and Lincoln
ALTADENA, CA (March 19, 2023) – A bicycle rider was badly injured after a crash near Woodbury Road and Lincoln Avenue in Altadena.
According to the California Highway Patrol dispatch team, the accident took place on Sunday night. Officers reported the collision on March 19 at about 8:19 p.m.
The incident happened when a vehicle struck the bicycle rider for an unknown reason in Altadena. The driver hit the bicyclist near the intersection of West Woodbury Road and Lincoln Avenue.
Bicyclist Hit by Vehicle
Firefighters along with the paramedics soon arrived at the scene and found the victim hurt. The cyclist sustained moderate injuries as a result of the accident.
Medical personnel then rushed the patient to the Huntington Hospital for treatment. The report did not disclose the name of the wounded party and their condition at this time.
Meanwhile, CHP did not mention if the motorist stopped or stayed at the site following the collision. Officers forced the area of Woodbury and Lincoln to shut down after the incident.
The cause of the Altadena bicycle crash is still under investigation.
