Woman Fatally Struck by Vehicle Near West Tefft Street
Nipomo, CA (September 15, 2022) – Amanda Figueroa, a 30-year-old woman, died following a pedestrian accident that occurred on Highway 101.
The Santa Marita Times reported Figueroa, of Nipomo, attempted to cross the northbound lanes of the highway Saturday evening. While in the middle of the freeway, a passing 2010 Toyota Prius struck the pedestrian. The horrible crash took place just south of West Tefft Street.

According to the article published online, the collision resulted in life-threatening injuries to the woman. Responding paramedics sadly pronounced Amanda Figueroa dead at the scene.
Meanwhile, no immediate information was available on the driver of the Prius.
Detectives stayed at the crash site the whole evening. They continue to investigate liability in the deadly pedestrian accident that happened on Highway 101 in Nipomo.
