Amber Chapman, 38, Killed in Gilman Springs Crash on Sanderson Avenue
GILMAN SPRINGS, CA (October 24, 2021) – Amber Chapman was killed after a car crash on Sanderson Avenue in Gilman Springs.
The coroner’s office identified the 38-year-old Hemet woman as the victim of the fatal wreck which took place on Friday morning.
The incident happened when Amber Chapman was riding in a vehicle which collided with two others in Gilman Springs. The three crashed for an unknown reason on Sanderson Avenue.
3 Injured in Car Collision
The Press Enterprise and My News LA wrote that the accident occurred on October 22 at about 6:50 a.m. The area if between Gilman Springs Road and Ramona Expressway.
Amber Chapman died at the scene of the crash. Firefighters reported that they extricated three occupants who ended up trapped in the wreckage.
One of the patients sustained serious injuries as a result of the collision. Medical personnel then took the three wounded parties to the hospital for treatment.
Meanwhile, officers forced a stretch of Sanderson Avenue to shut down for a time following the wreck. The cause of the Gilman Springs crash is still under investigation.
