1 Seriously Injured in Anaheim Crash on 91 Freeway Near Raymond Avenue
ANAHEIM, CA (January 22, 2022) – At least one was seriously injured after a car crash on the 91 Freeway near Raymond Avenue in Anaheim.
According to the California Highway Patrol dispatch team, the wreck took place early Saturday. Officers reported the accident shortly after 12 a.m.
CHP said three vehicles, including a dark colored SUV, collided for an unknown reason in Anaheim. They crashed on the westbound 91 Freeway, just east of Raymond Avenue.
Multiple Vehicles Collide
Firefighters along with the paramedics soon arrived at the scene and extricated a trapped occupant from the wreckage. One person ended up suffering from major injuries as a result of the collision.
Medical personnel then rushed the wounded party to a hospital for treatment. The report did not release the name of the patient and their condition at this time.
Meanwhile, CHP forced the westbound lanes of the 91 Freeway to shut down near Raymond for an hour following the wreck. The cause of the Anaheim crash is still under investigation.
