1 Killed, 1 Injured in Anaheim Crash on Westbound 91 Freeway Near Imperial
ANAHEIM, CA (July 3, 2021) – One was killed and another was injured after a car crash on the 91 Freeway in Anaheim.
According to an article published by My News LA, the tragic accident took place early Saturday. Officers reported the collision at about 3:35 a.m.
The California Highway Patrol said at least two vehicles collided on the westbound 91 Freeway near Imperial Highway in Anaheim.
2 Cars Collide in Anaheim
A CHP described the cars involved as a black Honda Civic and a white BMW 330I. Firefighters along with the paramedics arrived at the scene and confirmed one person died as a result of the wreck.
Another individual ended up hurt upon impact. Medical personnel took the patient to an area hospital for treatment of unspecified injuries.
Meanwhile, CHP forced the fast lane and the Nos. 1 and 2 lanes of the 91 Freeway near Imperial to shut down following the collision. The cause of the fatal Anaheim crash is still under investigation.
