Several Injured in Collision Near Brookhurst Street
Anaheim, CA (April 20, 2022) – A traffic accident that occurred on the Interstate 5 Freeway resulted in injuries, according to the Patch News.
Earlier reports indicated multiple vehicles collided in the northbound side of I-5 Wednesday afternoon. Officials mentioned the crash took place in the area near Brookhurst Street and La Palma Avenue exit of the freeway.
Shortly after 4:30 p.m., rescue teams arrived at the location. First responders found as many as four automobiles with minor to moderate damage.
Major Car Accident on 5 Freeway in Anaheim
Medical personnel checked the conditions of all the occupants in the disabled vehicles. After the evaluation, authorities confirmed several people sustained injuries as a result of the wreck. The names of the victims, and their conditions at this time have not been discussed thus far.
Detectives stayed at the scene the whole afternoon. They continue to investigate exactly how and why the crash happened on 5 Freeway in Anaheim.
