ANDERSON, Calif. (Feb. 8, 2023) — An Anderson truck versus car accident happened Wednesday afternoon at Balls Ferry Road and Lone Tree Road in the Shasta County area.
The collision occurred about 1:05 p.m. on Feb. 8th, according to a California Highway Patrol dispatch.
The drivers of a white semi-truck and a white Nissan Maxima were involved. Also, at least one of the vehicles hit the railroad crossing arms or pole.
Paramedics with Cal Fire Shasta County responded to help those hurt in the crash.
Meanwhile, tow trucks removed the big rig truck with major front-end damage as well as the Nissan which went off the roadway and had major front and rear damage.
Investigators are working on the case to determine fault.
