Woman Injured in Anderson Crash Near South Street and Highway 273
ANDERSON, CA (November 10, 2021) – One was hospitalized after a crash near South Street and Highway 273 in Anderson.
According to an article published by the Record Searchlight, the accident took place on Wednesday evening. Officers reported the wreck shortly before 7 p.m.
Anderson police said a car and a utility truck collided for an unknown reason. The two collided near the intersection of South Street and Highway 273.
Car and Utility Truck Collide
Firefighters along with the paramedics soon arrived at the scene and found a woman unresponsive inside the car. She sustained unspecified injuries as a result of the collision.
Medical personnel then took the patient to the Mercy Medical Center in Redding for treatment. The report did not disclose her name and condition at this time.
The two people inside the utility truck attached to the trailer ended up unharmed. Meanwhile, police forced the area of South Street and Highway 273 to shut down following the wreck.
The cause of the Anderson crash is under investigation.
