Andrea Katherine Marshall, 37, Jailed After Car Accident Near Old Sonora Columbia Road Thursday
Jamestown, CA (May 21, 2021) – Police officers arrested 37-year-old Andrea Katherine Marshall in relation with an injury traffic collision on Highway 49, the Union Democrat News reported.
On May 20, Thursday, a 2005 Kia Sportage with two occupants drove off the highway and slammed into a tree. The car crash took place near Old Sonora Columbia Road in Jamestown.

Responding medical personnel immediately rendered aid to the driver, Andrea Marshall, and her passenger. According to the article published online, the female motorist sustained major injuries as a result of the wreck. Paramedics reportedly transported Andrea Marshall and the passenger to Adventist Health Sonora for treatment.
After the investigation, officials determined Andrea Marshall was under the influence of an alcoholic beverage at the time of the collision. For this reason, police took the woman into custody. They booked her on suspicion of driving under the influence of alcohol or drugs with death or bodily injury; and a blood alcohol concentration of .10%.
Further investigation on the case is underway.
