Angelena Marie Huffman, 51, Fatal Victim in Car Accident on Interstate 5 Near Taft Highway
Buttonwillow, CA (April 15, 2021) – 51-year-old Angelena Marie Huffman died following a traffic collision on Interstate 5 on April 12, Monday.
The KGET News reported 54-year-old Scott Page was driving a vehicle traveling south on I-5 at about 8 a.m. When the 2004 Nissan Murano approached the area near Taft Highway, the car drifted away from the traffic lanes and slammed into the center median of the freeway.
Shortly after the incident, emergency teams arrived at the site and found the SUV overturned in a dirt area.
Our sources indicated the force from the impact ejected the female passenger in the Nissan. Responding paramedics sadly pronounced the woman dead at the scene. The Kern County Sheriff’s Office identified the deceased as Angelena Marie Huffman, of Oroville.

Meanwhile, an ambulance reportedly rushed Scott Page to Kern Medical for treatment of major injuries. After medical personnel cleared the driver, police arrested him. The news article published online indicated Scott Page was taken into custody on suspicion of impaired driving.
Further investigation on the catastrophic incident is ongoing.
