Angelus Oaks Car Crash at Highway 38 and Fir Street

1 Seriously Injured in Angelus Oaks Crash at Highway 38 and Fir Street

SAN BERNARDINO COUNTY, CA (January 2, 2022) – A car crash seriously injured at least one person at Highway 38 and Fir Street in Angelus Oaks.

The California Highway Patrol dispatch team said the wreck took place on Sunday evening. Officers reported the accident at about 5:48 p.m.

The incident happened when two vehicles collided for an unknown reason in the Angelus Oaks community. They crashed on eastbound Highway 38 at the intersection with Fir Street.

2 Cars Collide

CHP described the cars as a white Geo Metro and a white Ford F-150 pickup truck. The Geo Metro obtained major front-end damage upon impact.

Firefighters along with the paramedics soon arrived at the scene near Mountain Home Creek Road. They found one individual who ended up suffering from major injuries as a result of the collision.

Medical personnel then took the wounded party to a hospital for treatment. The report did not disclose the name of the patient and their condition at this time.

Meanwhile, CHP forced the area of Highway 38 and Fir Street to shut down following the wreck. The cause of the Angelus Oaks crash is still under investigation.
