Driver Dies, Several Hurt in Rollover Collision Near Scandia Sunday
Victorville, CA (November 8, 2021) – Anthony Andres, a 20-year-old man, died following a car crash that occurred on Mariposa Road on November 7.
The Victor Valley News Group reported Anthony Andres, of Victorville, was driving a dark blue 2003 Toyota Camry near Scandia. When the vehicle approached a curve in the 12600 block of Mariposa Road, the driver lost control and rolled over multiple times.
Shortly after 10:23 p.m., emergency crews arrived at the location. First responders found the Toyota Camry stopped in a vacant dirt-filled area in Victorville.

Medical personnel performed life-saving measures to the drivers. Sadly, the man succumbed to his injuries and died. The authorities confirmed the identity of the deceased as Anthony Andres.
Meanwhile, the other passengers from the vehicle reportedly sustained injuries from the collision. Paramedics transported the patients to Desert Valley Hospital; and then airlifted to the Arrowhead Community Medical Center for further treatment and evaluation.
Additional details on the rollover car crash remained undisclosed. At this time, investigators continue to work to determine the precise cause of the catastrophic incident on Mariposa Road in Victorville.
