Anthony Diaz, 33, Killed in Granada Hills Crash on 118 Freeway Near Woodley
LOS ANGELES, CA (June 16, 2022) – Anthony Diaz was killed after a car crash on the 118 Freeway in Granada Hills.
The coroner’s office identified the 33-year-old Sylmar man as the victim of the fatal wreck which took place on Tuesday.
The incident happened when Anthony Diaz was riding a car which collided with two others in the Granada Hills neighborhood.
2 Injured in Wreck
The three vehicles crashed for an unknown reason on the eastbound 118 Freeway near Woodley Avenue. The CBS Los Angeles and My News LA wrote that the accident occurred on June 14 at about 6:10 p.m.
The Los Angeles Fire Department confirmed that Anthony Diaz died at the scene of the crash. Two other people ended up hurt as a result of the collision.
Paramedics then rushed both patients to a hospital in fair condition. Meanwhile, the cause of the Granada Hills crash is still under investigation.
Officers forced the eastbound side of the 118 Freeway to shut down for a time near Woodley following the wreck.
