1 Killed, 1 Hurt in Collision Near Contra Loma Boulevard
Antioch, CA (July 14, 2022) – One person died, and another suffered injuries following a traffic accident that occurred on James Donlon Boulevard, the CBS News reported.
Our sources indicated two vehicles crashed into each other in the area between Contra Loma Boulevard and Rio Grande Drive. The violent collision took place Thursday morning.
Shortly after 10:30 a.m., rescue teams arrived at the location. First responders found one car slammed against a tree, and fully engulfed in flames.
Deadly Car Accident on James Donlon Boulevard in Antioch
Medical personnel rendered aid to all parties involved in the wreck. After the evaluation, authorities sadly confirmed one person died in the accident. The identity of the deceased remained undisclosed pending confirmation and notification of next of kin.
Officers added a second party sustained injuries in the crash. The name of the victim, and their condition at this time have not been revealed thus far.
Detectives handling the case continue to investigate exactly how and why the deadly crash happened on James Donlon Boulevard in Antioch.
