Anza Car Crash Highway 371
3 Injured in Anza Car Crash on Highway 371 Near Congress Road
ANZA, CA (March 28, 2022) – Several were injured after a car crash on Highway 371 near Congress Road in Anza.
The Riverside County Fire Department first logged the accident on Monday evening. Officers reported the wreck at about 5:50 p.m.
Cal Fire said the incident happened when two vehicles collided for an unknown reason in Anza. They crashed on Highway 371 near Congress Road.
2 Vehicles Collide
Firefighters along with the paramedics arrived at the scene and then extricated a trapped occupant from the wreckage. A total of three people ended up hurt as a result of the collision.
An air ambulance took the patient to a hospital for treatment of serious injuries. A second patient sustained moderate injuries and the third survived with minor injuries.
The report did not release the names of the wounded parties and their condition at this time. Meanwhile, officers forced a stretch of Highway 371 to shut down following the wreck.
The cause of the Anza car crash is still under investigation.
