Man Hit and Killed by Vehicle Near Rosemead Boulevard Ramp
Arcadia, CA (May 21, 2022) – A deadly pedestrian accident occurred on Interstate 210, also known as Foothill Freeway, according to My News LA.
Earlier reports indicated a vehicle struck a male party on the freeway near Rosemead Boulevard ramp in Arcadia. Officials said the catastrophic incident took plae Saturday at approximately 8:30 p.m.
Fatal Pedestrian Accident on Interstate 210 in Arcadia
When rescue teams arrived at the location, they found a man lying on the ground. Responding paramedics immediately rendered aid to the victim. Sadly, the pedestrian succumbed to his injuries and died at the scene. Officials only identified the deceased as a man in his 70s. The name of the fatal victim remained undisclosed pending confirmation and notification of next of kin.
The California Highway Patrol group issued a SigAlert for the Rosemead Boulevard onramp to the eastbound Foothhill Freeway to give way to the investigation process. Detectives continue to work at this time to determine liability in the deadly accident on Foothill (210) Freeway in Arcadia.
