At Least 1 Killed in Collision Near Baldwin Avenue Wednesday
Arcadia, CA (December 22, 2021) – The California Highway Patrol group reported a deadly traffic accident that occurred on Interstate 210, also known as Foothill Freeway.
UPDATE: Man killed in Arcadia crash identified
On December 22, a car and a motorcycle collided in the westbound side of the freeway near Baldwin Avenue onramp. CHP logged the crash at about 4:42 a.m.
First responders found at the scene a silver Saturn disabled off the roadway; and a gray Kawasaki motorcycle with major damage.
According to the accident dispatch, paramedics rendered aid to at least one person found with serious injuries. Sadly, despite life-saving measures, the victim succumbed to their injuries and died. Authorities continue to withhold the identity of the deceased pending confirmation and notification of next of kin.
Several factors surrounding the unfortunate event remained unclear. At this time, detectives continue to work to determine the precise circumstances that led to the fatal crash on Interstate 210 in Arcadia.
