Motorcyclist Injured in Arcadia Hit-and-Run Crash on 210 Freeway Near Santa Anita
ARCADIA, CA (February 5, 2022) – A hit-and-run crash injured a motorcyclist on the 210 Freeway near Santa Anita Avenue in Arcadia.
The California Highway Patrol first logged the incident on Friday night. According to their dispatch, officers reported the wreck at about 3:56 p.m.
The accident happened on February 4 when the motorcycle rider swerved to avoid a collision on the eastbound side of the 210 Freeway in Arcadia.
In the process, the motorcyclist veered into another vehicle. CHP said the two collided just west of Santa Anita Avenue.
2 Vehicles Collide
Firefighters along with the paramedics soon arrived at the scene and found the rider hurt. The patient sustained unknown injuries as a result of the collision.
Medical personnel then provided treatment to the victim at the site. The report did not release the name of the wounded patient and their condition at this time.
Meanwhile, CHP affirmed that the other driver did not stop to render aid and fled the area. Officers forced the eastbound lanes of the 210 Freeway to shut down near Santa Anita following the wreck.
The cause of the Arcadia hit-and-run crash is still under investigation.
