Pedestrian Seriously Injured in Arden-Arcade Crash Near Howe and Hallmark
ARDEN-ARCADE, CA (February 6, 2022) – A crash seriously injured a pedestrian near Howe Avenue and Hallmark Drive in Arden-Arcade.
According to the California Highway Patrol dispatch team, the accident took place on Sunday evening. Officers reported the collision at about 9:53 p.m.
CHP said a vehicle hit the pedestrian for an unknown reason in Arden-Arcade. The driver hit the person near the intersection of Howe Avenue and Hallmark Drive.
Victim Hit by Vehicle
Firefighters along with the paramedics soon arrived at the scene near the Arden Howe Plaza shopping mall. They found the victim who sustained major injuries as a result of the collision.
Medical personnel then took the patient to a hospital for treatment. The report did not disclose the name of the wounded party and their condition at this time.
Meanwhile, CHP did not mention if the motorist stopped and stayed at the site after hitting the person. They forced the area of Howe and Hallmark to shut down following the incident.
The cause of the Arden-Arcade pedestrian crash is still under investigation.
