Pedestrian Injured in Arden-Arcade Hit-and-Run at Arden Way and Howe Avenue
ARDEN-ARCADE, CA (January 11, 2022) – A hit-and-run crash injured a pedestrian at Arden Way and Howe Avenue in Arden-Arcade.
According to the California Highway Patrol dispatch team, the accident took place on Tuesday evening. Officers reported the incident at about 7:42 p.m.
CHP said a vehicle struck the pedestrian for an unknown reason in Arden-Arcade. The driver hit the person at the intersection of Arden Way and Howe Avenue.
Driver Hits Victim, Flees Scene
Firefighters along with the paramedics soon arrived at the scene near Exposition Boulevard. They found the victim who ended up hurt as a result of the collision
Medical personnel then treated the patient for the unspecified injuries they sustained in the incident. The report did not disclose the name of the wounded party and their condition at this time.
Meanwhile, CHP affirmed that the motorist did not stop to render aid and fled the area. Officers forced the corner of Arden Way and Howe Avenue to shut down following the collision.
The cause of the Arden-Arcade hit-and-run crash is still under investigation.
