Aristeo Nava-Soriano, 28, ID’d as Suspect Westminster Fatal DUI Crash
WESTMINSTER, CA (December 4, 2022) – Authorities detained Aristeo Nava-Soriano after a fatal DUI crash near Magnolia Street and McFadden Avenue in Westminster.
Police determined that the 28-year-old Santa Ana man was under the under the influence when the wreck took place on Sunday.
The incident happened when Aristeo Nava-Soriano was driving a pickup truck in the area of Magnolia Street and McFadden Avenue in Westminster.
For an unknown reason, he collided with a sedan in the 15500 block of Magnolia Street. Police said one of the cars involved then slammed into the garden wall of a home nearby.
Man, 25, Killed in Wreck
Firefighters arrived and pronounced the driver of the sedan, a 25-year-old Santa Ana man, dead at the scene of the collision. His name has not been yet released pending notification of next of kin.
The Orange County Register and KTLA News wrote that the accident occurred at around 1 a.m. The report added that Aristeo Nava-Soriano sustained unspecified injuries as a result of the crash.
Paramedics rushed him to a hospital for treatment. Meanwhile, police soon arrested Aristeo Nava-Soriano on suspicion of gross vehicular manslaughter and DUI.

The cause of the Westminster DUI crash is still under investigation.
