Child Seriously injured in Arroyo Grande Hit-and-Run at Los Berros and Falcon Crest
ARROYO GRANDE, CA (February 13, 2022) – A hit-and-run crash seriously injured a child at Los Berros Road and Falcon Crest Drive in Arroyo Grande.
According to an article published by The Tribune, the accident took place early Sunday. Officers reported the collision at about 12:34 a.m.
The California Highway Patrol said a vehicle struck a pedestrian for an unknown reason in Arroyo Grande. The car hit the juvenile at the intersection of Los Berros Road and Falcon Crest Drive.
Driver Hits Victim, Flees Scene
Firefighters along with the paramedics soon arrived at the scene. They found the victim who ended up suffering from major injuries as a result of the collision.
Medical personnel then rushed the patient to a hospital for treatment. The report did not disclose the name of the wounded party and their condition at this time.
Meanwhile, CHP affirmed that the driver abandoned their car and fled on foot. Officers forced the area of Los Berros and Falcon Crest to shut down following the collision.
The cause of the Arroyo Grande hit-and-run crash is still under investigation.
