Rider Badly Hurt in Multi-Vehicle Collision on Artesia Freeway Saturday
Artesia, CA (November 7, 2021) – A motorcycle rider suffered injuries following a traffic accident that occurred on State Route 91, also known as Artesia Freeway.
On November 6, Saturday, a motorcyclist and two other vehicles collided on the eastbound lanes of the freeway in Artesia. Officials said the wreck involved a black van; a black SUV; and a motorbike.
The crash took place in the area just east of Pioneer Boulevard.

Shortly after 10:12 a.m., rescue teams arrived at the location. First responders found the motorcyclist lying in the middle of the roadway. Paramedics then treated the victim for major injuries sustained in the collision. At this time, it remained unclear whether the rider was transported to the hospital for further treatment and evaluation.
No immediate information was available on the occupants of the van and the SUV.
Detectives stayed at the scene to investigate the precise circumstances that led to the motorcycle accident on State Route 91 in Artesia.
