Ashley Brum Critically Injured in Los Angeles Crash at La Brea and San Vincente
LOS ANGELES, CA (May 7, 2023) – Ashley Brum was critically injured after a crash at La Brea Avenue and San Vicente Boulevard in Los Angeles.
Family members set up a GoFundMe page to help cover the medical bills of one of the victims in the wreck late last month.
The incident happened when Ashley Lynn Brum was riding a car which collided with another vehicle in the Mid-Wilshire neighborhood of Los Angeles.
Police said the two crashed at the intersection of La Brea Avenue and San Vicente Boulevard. One of the cars involved then struck a fire hydrant in the area.
2 Cars Collide
Both vehicles obtained damage due to the impact of the collision. The KTLA News wrote that the accident took place on April 29 at about 2:06 a.m.
Firefighters arrived at the scene and found a total of eight people hurt. One of the victims, Ashley Brum, sustained a traumatic brain injury as a result of the crash.
Paramedics rushed her to a hospital and listed her in critical but stable condition. Three more patients ended up hospitalized following the wreck.
Medical personnel provided treatment to three other individuals at the site. Meanwhile, the GoFundMe page claimed that a driver ran a red light at the intersection and t-boned the victim’s car.
The cause of the Los Angeles crash is still under investigation.
