1 Seriously Injured in Auburn Crash at Bell Road and Quartz Drive
AUBURN, CA (May 3, 2021) – At least one was seriously injured after a car crash at Bell Road and Quartz Drive in Auburn.
According to the California Highway Patrol dispatch team, the accident occurred on Monday afternoon. Officers reported the wreck at about 2:48 p.m.
The report log said four vehicles collided for an unknown reason. They crashed at the intersection of Bell Road and Quartz Drive in Auburn.
Multi-Car Collision Near Highway 49
CHP described two of the cars involved as silver Nissan sedan and a black Subaru. They also mentioned that at least two drivers collided head-on at the time.
Firefighters along with the paramedics soon responded to the scene near Highway 49. They found one person who suffered major injuries as a result of the collision.
Medical personnel then took the patient to the hospital for treatment. Officials did not release the name of the wounded party and their condition at this time.
Meanwhile, officers forced the intersection to shut down following the wreck. Authorities are still determining the cause of the Auburn crash.
