At Least 1 Hospitalized After Collision at Mount Vernon and Potomac Avenue Saturday
Bakersfield, CA (October 25, 2021) – A car accident that occurred in the area of Mount Vernon and Potomac Avenue resulted in injuries, according to the California Highway Patrol dispatch.
Earlier reports indicated multiple vehicles collided at the Bakersfield intersection on October 23 Saturday. The make and model of the automobiles involved in the wreck have not been revealed thus far.
Injury Car Accident in Bakersfield, October 23
Shortly after 1:50 a.m., rescue teams arrived at the location. First responders found one car flipped on its roof. Firefighters at the scene worked extensively to pull out all occupants from the overturned vehicle.
Paramedics later mentioned one person suffered injuries as a result of the incident. Due to the condition of the victim, medical personnel rushed them to the hospital for treatment.
At this time, investigators continue to work to determine exactly how and why the car accident at Mount Vernon and Potomac Avenue.
