Man, 25, Injured in Hit-and-Run Collision at Rosedale Highway and Mohawk Street
Bakersfield, CA (November 21, 2021) – At least one person suffered injuries following a hit-and-run crash that occurred in the area of Rosedale Highway and Mohawk Street.
According to the California Highway Patrol dispatch, two vehicles collided at the Bakersfield intersection on November 18. The CHP logged the accident at approximately 8:15 p.m.

Primary reports mentioned the wreck involved a gray Chevrolet Malibu. Meanwhile, the make and model of the second car involved in the collision have not been revealed thus far.
When emergency crews arrived at the location, they found the Malibu disabled in the northbound side of Mohawk Street. Responding paramedics found at least one person with injuries. Officials later discovered the victim is 25-year-old. Authorities continue to withhold additional details on the victim pending confirmation.
Preliminary investigation revealed one motorist fled the scene after the crash. At this time, detectives continue to work to identify the suspect in the hit-and-run car crash at Rosedale Highway and Mohawk Street.
