Woman Killed in Hit-and-Run Collision on Union Avenue
Bakersfield, CA (August 21, 2022) – A pedestrian died following a suspected hit-and-run crash that occurred on Union Avenue, the Bakersfield Now reported.
Officials said a vehicle struck a female party in the 400 block of Union Avenue in Bakersfield. The catastrophic incident took place on August 20, Saturday.
When emergency crews arrived at the location, they found the woman lying in the roadway. Responding paramedics performed life-saving measures to the victim but she sadly succumbed to their injuries and died. The identity of the deceased remained undisclosed pending confirmation and notification of next of kin.
