2 Killed in Traffic Accident on Golden State Highway Near Q Street Saturday
Bakersfield, CA (April 24, 2021) – Two people died following a car crash on Golden State Highway Saturday evening, the ABC23 News reported.
Officials said a solo-vehicle with at least two occupants slammed head-on into a pillar along the freeway. The horrible crash took place in the area near Q Street in Central Bakersfield. At the moment, the make and model of the car involved in the unfortunate event remained undisclosed.

Shortly after 6:15 p.m., medical personnel arrived at the accident scene. Paramedics found the driver and passenger both unconscious. According to the news article published online, the two men sadly succumbed to their injuries and died at the scene.
Police continue to withhold the names of the deceased parties pending confirmation and notification.
Further investigation on the fatal car crash in Center Bakersfield is underway.
