2 Seriously Injured in Bakersfield Crash at H Street and Belle Terrace
BAKERSFIELD, CA (July 1, 2022) – Two were seriously injured after a DUI crash at H Street and Belle Terrace in Bakersfield.
According to an article published by The Bakersfield Now, the accident took place early Friday. Officers reported the wreck at about 2:56 a.m.
Bakersfield police said the incident happened when two vehicles collided. The two cars crashed at the intersection of South H Street and Belle Terrace in the city.
Firefighters along with the paramedics soon arrived at the scene. They found two men, one inside each vehicle, ended up hurt as a result of the collision.
2 Vehicles Collide
One patient sustained life-threatening injuries while the other survived with moderate injuries. Medical personnel then rushed both of them to a hospital for treatment.
The report did not disclose the names of the wounded parties and their condition at this time. Meanwhile, police forced the area of H Street and Belle Terrace to shut down following the wreck.
Officers believed that alcohol and speed played a role in the incident. The cause of the Bakersfield crash is still under investigation.
