Rider Killed in Collision at Harris and Old River Road Sunday
Bakersfield, CA (March 13, 2022) – A motorcycle rider suffered fatal injuries following a traffic accident that occurred in the area of Harris and Old River Road.
Deadly Auto vs. Off-Road Motorcycle Accident in Bakersfield
According to KGET News, a man riding an off-road mini-motorcycle collided with a four-door sedan at the intersection in Bakersfield. The crash took place Sunday shortly before 8 p.m. The article published online mentioned the mini-motorcycle was not street legal. Furthermore, it did not have lights at the time of the accident.
When rescue teams arrived at the location, they found the motorcyclist unconscious. Responding paramedics performed life-saving measures to the victim but they sadly succumbed to their injuries and died. The identity of the deceased remained undisclosed pending confirmation and notification of next of kin.
Several factors surrounding the unfortunate event have not been discussed thus far. At this time, detectives continue to investigate the precise cause of the deadly accident at Harris and Old River Road.
