Minor Injury Collision on Wilson Avenue Wednesday
Bakersfield, CA (April 16, 2021) – A traffic accident involving a motorcycle rider occurred Wednesday evening on Wilson Avenue in Bakersfield, the California Highway Patrol group reported.

At about 9 p.m., CHP logged a collision between a motorcyclist and a white Chevrolet pickup truck. For reasons still unclear, the two motorists crashed in the 1100 block of Wilson Avenue in Bakersfield.
First responders found the motorcycle rider lying in the middle of the roadway. Paramedics immediately attended to the victim, and later determine they sustained minor injuries as a result of the crash. Authorities continue to withhold the identity of the deceased pending confirmation.
Additional details on the mishap have not been revealed thus far. Investigators handling the case continue to work to determine exactly how and why the motorcycle accident on Wilson Avenue happened.
