6 Injured in Banning Crash on West Nicolet Street
BANNING, CA (March 23, 2023) – Several were injured after a crash on Nicolet Street near the Interstate 10 in Banning.
According to an article published by My News LA, the accident took place on Thursday morning. Officers reported the wreck on March 23 shortly after 9 a.m.
The Riverside County Fire Department said two vehicles collided for an unknown reason in Banning. The cars crashed in front of 160 West Nicolet Street, about a half-mile north of the Interstate 10.
2 Vehicles Collide
Firefighters along with the paramedics soon arrived at the scene and found a total of six people hurt. One of them sustained moderate injuries as a result of the collision.
The other five patients survived the incident with minor injuries. Medical personnel then rushed all six victims to the hospital for treatment.
The report did not disclose the names of the wounded parties and their condition at this time. Meanwhile, officers forced a stretch of Nicolet Street to shut down following the wreck.
The cause of the Banning crash is still under investigation.
