Barbara Gillespie, 48, Killed in Rancho Cucamonga Car Crash
RANCHO CUCAMONGA, CA (April 16, 2021) – A car crash killed Barbara Gillespie near Haven Avenue and Trademark Street in Rancho Cucamonga.
The coroner’s division said the 48-year-old Rancho Cucamonga woman died following the wreck. The tragic accident occurred on Thursday evening.
Deputies affirmed that Barbara Alice Gillespie was riding one of the two vehicles that collided for an unknown reason. They crashed near the intersection of Haven Avenue and Trademark Street in Rancho Cucamonga.
Fatal Collision Near Haven and Trademark
Firefighters along with the paramedics responded to the site near the 10 Freeway. They then found one person involved, named as Barbara Gillespie, severely injured as a result of the crash.
Medical personnel soon pronounced her dead at the scene. The Fontana Herald News wrote that officers reported the collision on April 15 at about 6:55 p.m.
Meanwhile, officials did not mention if any other party ended up hurt after the accident. They forced the road to shut down for a time following the crash.
The cause of the fatal wreck is still under investigation.
