2-Vehicle Crash in Bay Point on Hwy 4
BAY POINT, Calif. (August 26, 2022) — A two-vehicle Bay Point crash on the westbound Highway 4 happened Friday morning near the San Marco Boulevard off ramp.
The traffic accident occurred about 11 a.m. on August 26th, according to the California Highway Patrol.
The drivers of a white Kia Optima and a gray Honda Civic were involved.
It’s unknown what led up to the collision between the two motorists. Paramedics responded to help the woman from the Kia who suffered a whiplash injury in the crash. She was unable to move her vehicle due to the neck injury and her car blocked the No. 1 lane. Police called for a tow truck to remove the Kia from the highway.
Meanwhile, it’s unknown if others were hurt in the crash.
Also, investigators are working on the case and will determine fault for the Bay Point crash.
