Motorcyclist Injured in Crash on I-5 Freeway
SACRAMENTO, Calif. (April 26, 2024) — A motorcycle accident on the Interstate 5 Freeway happened Friday morning, just north of Cosumnes River Boulevard in Sacramento.
The two-vehicle collision occurred at around 7:29 a.m. on April 26th, according to the California Highway Patrol.
CHP officials reported the rider went down on the freeway after a collision with a white or light-colored sedan, the report said.
Paramedics responded and located the motorcyclist conscious and breathing with complaints of pain on his left side.
A tow truck removed the damaged motorcycle from the 5 freeway and investigators are working to determine fault for the Sacramento accident.
