4 Injured in Beaumont Crash Near Highway 79 and California Avenue
BEAUMONT, CA (November 17, 2021) – Several were injured after a car crash near Highway 79 and California Avenue in Beaumont.
According to The Desert Sun and Patch, the accident took place on Wednesday morning. Officers reported the wreck at around 9:10 a.m.
The Riverside County Fire Department said seven vehicles collided for an unknown reason in Beaumont. They crashed near the intersection of Highway 79 and California Avenue.
Multiple Cars Collide
A total of seven people ended up hurt as a result of the collision. Three people sustained major injuries while one survived with moderate injuries.
Firefighters along with the paramedics arrived at the scene and soon took them to a hospital for treatment. Medical personnel at the site evaluated three other patients who then declined further aid.
The report did not release the names of the wounded parties and their condition at this time. Meanwhile, the cause of the Beaumont crash is still under investigation.
Officers forced Highway 79 to shut down between First Street and Gilman Springs Road following the wreck.
