Pedestrian Killed in Bell Car Crash at Walker and Gage Avenues
BELL, CA (August 14, 2022) – A car crash killed a pedestrian at Walker and Gage avenues in the city of Bell.
According to an article published by the KTLA News, the tragic accident took place on Saturday night. Officers reported the wreck shortly after 9 p.m.
The incident happened on August 13 when for an unknown reason a Dodge Charger crashed into a sedan at the intersection of Walker and Gage avenues.
The Dodge then plowed into three vehicles parked in the area. Bell police said in the process, the Charger struck a male pedestrian.
Driver Hits Several Cars, Victim
Firefighters along with the paramedics arrived and found the man in his 50s or 60s down on the ground. He sustained serious injuries as a result of the collision.
Medical personnel soon pronounced the victim dead at the scene. His name has not been yet released pending notification of next of kin.
Meanwhile, police added that the driver of the Dodge cooperated with them. Officers forced the corner of Walker and Gage avenues to shut down for a time following the collision.
The cause of the fatal Bell pedestrian crash is still under investigation.
