1 Injured in Bella Vista Crash at Easy Street and Old Alturas Road
SHASTA COUNTY, CA (September 9, 2021) – One was hospitalized after a car crash at Easy Street and Old Alturas Road in Bella Vista.
The California Highway Patrol dispatch team said the accident took place on Thursday afternoon. Officers reported the wreck shortly after 3:30 p.m.
According to CHP, two vehicles collided for an unknown reason in the Bella Vista area of Shasta County. They crashed at the intersection of Easy Street and Old Alturas Road.
2 Cars Collide
The incident log described the cars as a white SUV and a white Ford truck. The SUV obtained major front-end damage upon impact.
Firefighters along with the paramedics soon arrived at the scene. They found a female occupant of one vehicle who ended up hurt as a result of the collision.
Medical personnel then took the patient to a hospital for treatment of minor injuries. Officials did not disclose the name of the wounded party and her condition at this time.
Meanwhile, CHP forced the intersection of Easy Street and Old Alturas Road to shut down following the wreck. The cause of the Bella Vista crash is still under investigation.
