Bennie Foronda, 61, Fatal Victim in Car vs. Truck Accident at 7th Standard and Zerker Road Monday
Shafter, CA (April 6, 2021) – 61-year-old Bennie Foronda died following a traffic accident near the intersection of 7th Standard and Zerker Road Monday evening.
On April 5, a semi truck crashed into a passenger vehicle at the Shafter junction. The KGET News said make and model of the automobiles involved in the catastrophic incident remained unknown at this time.
Deadly Car Crash in Shafter, April 5
Shortly after 11:20 p.m., emergency teams arrived in the area of 7th Standard and Zerker. Paramedics at the scene checked the conditions of both the driver of the car and the truck. After the evaluation, officials confirmed the man behind the wheel of the passenger vehicle sadly died as a result of the collision.
The Kern County Coroner’s Office identified the deceased as Bennie Foronda.
Meanwhile, no immediate information was available on the operator of the truck.
Investigators handling the case continue to work to determine the precise cause of the deadly car and truck crash that killed Bennie Foronda.
