Teen Riding Bike Hit by SUV on Antonio Parkway

ORANGE COUNTY, Calif. (March 5, 2024) — A driver in an SUV struck a 13-year-old riding a bicycle Tuesday morning in an accident at Antonio Parkway and Meandering Trail in Los Flores.

The collision occurred at around 8:15 a.m. on March 5th, just south of Rancho Santa Margarita, according to the California Highway Patrol. It’s unknown at this time if the bicyclist was crossing the roadway or riding along the shoulder.

The CHP dispatch reported firefighters were responding to help the injured teenager, but there are no further details at this time.

Investigators will be piecing together what happened to determine fault for the bicycle accident in Las Flores on Antonio Parkway.
