Motorcyclist Killed in Crash is Identified
RIVERSIDE COUNTY, Calif. (May 6, 2024) — Jason Frost, 44, of Lake Elsinore, died in a motorcycle versus SUV accident on Highway 74 and Betty Road in Good Hope.
The two-vehicle collision occurred on State Route 74 at around 9:17 p.m. on May 2nd, in this census-designated place located in Riverside County, according to the California Highway Patrol.
CHP officials reported a gray Toyota Highlander SUV and the motorcycle rider collided due to unknown circumstances at the intersection. The motorcyclist went down in the eastbound lanes of SR-74, the report said.
CAL Fire Riverside sent paramedics to the crash scene to help the injured rider, but unfortunately Jason Frost died from his injuries at the scene. Meanwhile, there were two other people with moderate injuries after the collision, but they refused further medical treatment, CAL Fire reported.
Investigators are working to determine fault for the motorcycle accident on Highway 74.
