Man Hit and Injured by Vehicle on Highway 18 Friday
Big Bear City, CA (October 22, 2021) – A pedestrian suffered injuries following a traffic accident that occurred on State Route Highway 18 on October 22.
According to the California Highway Patrol dispatch, a vehicle struck an individual on SR-18 at Blue Water Drive Friday evening. Officials described the car involved in the collision as a dark gray Dodge Caravan.
The CHP logged the incident at about 6:23 p.m.
Pedestrian Hospitalized After Accident in Big Bear City, October 22
When emergency crews arrived at the location, they found the pedestrian with injuries. Paramedics rendered aid to the victim, then transferred them to the hospital for treatment.
Authorities mentioned the driver that hit the pedestrian appeared unharmed after the crash.
