Major Injury Collision Near Waterman Gap Loop Sunday
Boulder Creek, CA (February 6, 2022) – At least one person suffered injuries following a traffic accident that occurred on State Route 236, the California Highway Patrol group reported.
Our sources indicated a car crashed in the northbound side of SR-236, also known as Big Basin Highway. Initial records mentioned the collision took place near Waterman Gap Loop.
The CHP logged the incident Sunday at about 2:10 p.m.
When emergency crews arrived at the location, they found a vehicle smashed against a tree along the highway. Responding paramedics rendered aid to all possible victims in the accident. After the evaluation, authorities confirmed at least one person sustained major trauma as a result of the wreck. The name and age of the victim remained undisclosed pending confirmation.
Additional details on the collision have not been discussed thus far. At this time, detectives continue to investigate several unclear factors surrounding the car crash on State Route 236 in Boulder Creek.
