Major Injury Collision on SR-86 in Brawley
BRAWLEY, Calif. (April 30, 2024) — A major injury car accident happened Tuesday in Brawley on State Route 86 and West Keystone Road.
The two-vehicle collision occurred at around 1:30 p.m. on April 30th, according to the California Highway Patrol.
CHP officials reported a driver in a silver Kia reportedly rear-ended a driver in a tan BMW at the intersection on the northbound side of SR-86.
The Brawley Police Department responded to the scene where they located one person with major injuries including an open fracture on the right foot.
At least one injured person was airlifted to a hospital for further treatment, but is expected to recover.
Investigators are working on the case and will determine fault for the Brawley crash on State Route 86.
