Motorcyclist Seriously Injured in Brisbane Crash on Highway 101 Near Sierra Point
BRISBANE, CA (June 26, 2022) – A crash seriously injured a motorcyclist on Highway 101 near Sierra Point Parkway in Brisbane.
The California Highway Patrol first logged the accident on Saturday afternoon. According to their dispatch, officers reported the wreck at about 2:46 p.m.
The incident happened on June 25 when the male rider and a car collided for an unknown reason in Brisbane. The two crashed on northbound Highway 101 near the Sierra Point Parkway off-ramp.
Motorcycle and Car Collide
The green 2003 Triumph Daytona 955i motorcycle obtained major right side damage upon impact. Firefighters along with the paramedics soon arrived at the scene.
The motorcyclist who sustained major injuries as a result of the collision. Medical personnel then took the patient to the San Francisco General Hospital for treatment of broken wrists and road rash.
The name of the wounded party and his condition at this time were not disclosed. Meanwhile, CHP did not mention if the other driver ended up hurt or if they stopped following the wreck.
Officers forced the northbound lanes of Highway 101 to shut down near Sierra Point after the incident. The cause of the Brisbane crash is still under investigation.
