4 Injured in Traffic Collision in Woodchopper Hill Thursday
Buellton, CA (January 2, 2022) – On December 30, a car accident occurred on Highway 101 in the Woodchopper Hill area.
The Noozhawk News reported a solo-vehicle crashed for an unknown reason on SR-101 north of Buellton. Our sources indicated the collision took place near Highway 154.
Shortly after 11 p.m., emergency crews arrived at the location. First responders found a sedan rolled off the roadway; and smashed into a tree.
Medical personnel rendered aid to all possible victims in the accident. Following the evaluation, authorities confirmed as many as four people sustained injuries in the collision. The article published online mentioned two people suffered major trauma; one person suffered moderate injuries; and a fourth party sustained minor wounds. The names of the victims remained undisclosed pending confirmation.
Paramedics rushed all four patients to local hospital for further treatment and evaluation.
At this time, detectives continue to investigate the precise circumstance that led to the car crash on Highway 101 in Buellton.
