Motorcyclist Killed in Cajon Pass Crash on 15 Freeway Near Kenwood Avenue
CAJON PASS, CA (October 8, 2022) – A crash killed a motorcyclist on the 15 Freeway near Kenwood Avenue in Cajon Pass.
According to the California Highway Patrol dispatch team, the tragic accident took place on Saturday morning. Officers reported the wreck at about 4:21 a.m.
CHP said the motorcycle rider and at least one other car collided for an unknown reason in Cajon Pass. The two crashed on the northbound side of the 15 Freeway near Kenwood Avenue.
Motorcycle and Car Collide
Firefighters along with the paramedics arrived at the scene and found the motorcyclist down on the ground. The patient sustained major head trauma as a result of the collision.
Medical personnel soon pronounced the victim dead. The name of the deceased party has not been yet released pending notification of next of kin.
Meanwhile, CHP described the car as a red Nissan Sentra. Officers forced the northbound lanes of the 15 Freeway to shut down near Kenwood Avenue following the wreck.
The cause of the fatal Cajon Pass crash is still under investigation.
