2 Hospitalized After Multi-Vehicle Collision on Los Angeles Avenue Saturday
Camarillo, CA (May 8, 2021) – At least two people suffered injuries following a car accident on Highway 118 Saturday afternoon, according to the Ventura County Star.
Earlier reports indicated a motorist lost control of their vehicle after a tire blew. The vehicle then swerved across the lanes of SR-118, also known as Los Angeles Avenue, and struck several other cars.
Officials identified some of the automobiles found at the crash site as a Toyota Highlander, and a Ford Bronco. The make and model of the other cars involved in the wreck remained undisclosed.
Major Car Accident in Camarillo, May 8
Shortly after 8:40 a.m., emergency teams responded to the accident scene, just east of Mesa Elementary School. Paramedics rendered aid to all possible victims, and later confirmed two people sustained moderate injuries. An ambulance transported the two patients to Ventura County Medical Center for treatment.
Further investigation on the car accident in Camarillo is underway.
