Pedestrian Killed in Crash at Cameron Park Drive and Green Valley Road
EL DORADO COUNTY, CA (March 8, 2022) – A crash killed a pedestrian at Cameron Park Drive and Green Valley Road in Cameron Park.
According to an article published by the KCRA News, the fatal accident took place on Tuesday evening. Officers reported the collision at around 6:50 p.m.
The California Highway Patrol said a Dodge pickup truck hit a female pedestrian walking near a convenience store. For an unknown reason, the car struck her at the intersection of Cameron Park Drive and Green Valley Road.

Firefighters along with the paramedics arrived at the scene and then found the woman lying on the ground. She sustained serious injuries as a result of the collision.
Medical personnel soon pronounced the victim dead. Her name has not been yet released pending notification of next of kin.
Meanwhile, CHP affirmed that the driver stopped, stayed at the site and cooperated with the officers. They forced the area of Cameron Park and Green Valley to shut down for a time following the incident.
The cause of the pedestrian crash is still under investigation.
